Dr. Nalin Somani joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering as an Assistant Professor in December 2016. Somani received his M.E. in Production Engineering from Thapar University, Patiala. Somani’s interests center upon composite materials, tribology, microwave sintering and non-conventional machining. He is the gold medallist from Thapar University for the best academic records. He has qualified GATE two times i.e. GATE-2013, 2014. He is completed his PhD from DIT University, Dehradun.
