About
Atanu Bhatta joined the Department of Physics as an Assistant Professor in January 2024. Atanu completed MSc from IIT Bombay and obtained his PhD from IMSc, Chennai (HBNI). He was a postdoctoral fellow at IISc, Bengaluru (September 2018 -- June 2020) and University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg (May 2021 -- September 2023). Before joining DIT University Atanu was a part-time faculty in NIT Raipur. His primary area of research is string theory.
